WEREWYRM - What happens if you’re bitten by a dragon, you ask? You may be cursed to transform into the dreaded werewyrm, a creature fueled for its lust for treasure and roast mutton. Inspired by a throwaway line from The Hobbit novel that mentions “wereworms".
Disney initially hired Kate Bush to make music for their movie ‘Dinosaur’, but decided against using it. Also according to IMDB’s trivia section, a carnotaurus would’ve had dialog at the finale of the movie. This got removed because they thought having the scary animalistic villains being revealed to be intelligent was too creepy. Keeping both of these elements would’ve made Dinosaur a better movie, eye-em-aych-oh. Here’s a carnotaur and a lyric from “Pull Out the Pin” by Kate Bush.
A belated gift I drew for @tyrantisterror a few months ago; his monster Tyrantis reimagined along the same creative lines as the 1998 Godzilla reboot. This version isn’t a retrosaur but instead is a mutated tuatara.

The Refinery Magmar is a rare subspecies created when a young magmar wanders into a facility for processing copper ore. Something about the green flames produced when copper is melted effects their growth, causing them to emit green flames as well. Found in the northern regions, the locals still refer to them by the original nicknames workers at the refineries used upon their discovery; Copper Devils.
JINX - a supernatural creature from a world where minced oaths like Gosh and Bajesus are actual deities. Can be summoned by two people accidentally saying the same thing at the same time within hearing distance of each other, or by asking “what could possibly go wrong?” at the exact right moment. Specializes in fortune, bad luck, and silence
CHARLIGHTON - also known as the False Charizard, is a rare example of Batesian Mimicry amongst pokemon. Not able to breathe fire, it has a tongue that imitates a flickering flame. Two fins on its back represent the wings of charizard, and though they can fold up and down, it can’t actually fly (it can jump like crazy, though), while the tail fins mimic fire at the end of charizard’a tail. Pokemon, though very intelligent in some ways, aren’t very hard to trick - in the wild only a cursory glance is used to size up potential rivals. Charlighton is technically a psychic type, but without any psychic abilities; it’s focus is on trying to psyche out its opponent, tricking them into thinking its much more dangerous than it actually is. The lack of blue on this mimic’s fake wings has lead some biologists to theorize that the blue wings on charizard may be a relatively recent mutation that caught on and Charlighton has yet to fully copy. What did this pokemon evolve from? Can you guess? It’s actually an alternate evolution of pokemon 129.
